I started an account at ShareBuilder and began my investing. It feels good to get something started. I’m not for certain exactly how successfuly it will be. But I know I’m savign and I’m investing. I made it a little diverse, but focused on aggressive stocks and balanced with some index funds. So far over the past week, it’s made money. Not bad for the first week. I know I have a lot to learn, so I’m starting with some good web sites to increase my education. The Rookie DayTrader has a “classroom” for newbies. I listened to a book by Eric Tyson called Investing For Dummies and learned a little about the difference between stocks and bonds and why stocks are better.
