Using Your Resources

I have noticed other web sites that are all about using blogs to make money. For example, ProBlogger and another good blog is Big Money Tips. These sites are definitely worth the time investment to browse through and learn what their pages hold. You’ll also always find good information at The Motley Fool, and I just really can’t suggest it enough. They have a great article on how to pick a winning 401k mutual fund. Even though financial education is so important, access to the information is relatively easy as technology improves because of the internet.

Negotiating An Effective Deal

Often an opportunity arises and it may not particularly be suitable. However, in life, most things are negotiable to someone who knows the options or has the skills to create more options. Take for example, when working with a credit card company and trying to get a better interest rate. If they won’t budge on providing a lower interest rate, perhaps they’ll waive the annual fee. Perhaps on a car loan they won’t less on the price of the car, but perhaps they’ll give more for the trade in or offer a better interest rate or throw in a discount. The important thing to remember on this is if the deal causes you to lose more money and the offer is not appropriate, do not settle. When doing business investments, the deals that you receive must be creating positive cash flow to be a good opportunity. To successfully negotiate this, both parties must understand and be party to the win-win situation. Without both sides being successful, someone is always a loser.
