How to measure wealth

“Wealth is the measure of the cash flow from the asset column compared with the expense column.” — Kiyosaki, “Rich Dad, Poor Dad”. By creating invetsments, the asset column of your financial statement grows, generating a flow of cash from the asset column and putting that money back into your income column. By contrasting this to the expense column, which doesn’t go back into your financial statement, you’re able to see your wealth as a numeric figure. This gives credit to Buckminster Fuller’s idea about wealth and survival in the world.
